I shot half a roll of TMax 400 with my meter at 400. I switched it over for some LF to 100, and forgot to switch back for the rest of the 120 roll.

Am I SOL on the second half?

I usually do Caffenol Stand developing for 70 minutes.....

Thanks for any advice. It's the next roll to be developed....

Develop as normal because two stops is within the dynamic range.

caffenol is a low contrast developer
(have used it for 11 years )
you should be good because
your iso 100 frames won't be too over processed.
if you were using a more active developer i would suggest
cutting your time a little ///
good luck !

1. Develop as normal and don't worry about it.
2. stand develop. No guarantee for better negs here either.
3. Sacrifice a few frames, but roll in half in dark bag and develop accordingly

Reminds me of the homebrewer's mantra "Relax, Don't Worry - Have a Home Brew!"

I've never used Caffenol nor stand development.....but I have certainly over-exposed TMAX 400 by two stops an then developed as normal. Chances are you will be fine developing as normal...as the over-exposed frames will still come out OK. Probably more dense but you might even get away without losing any highlights.

You could split the difference and process for 200 but then your correctly metered shots will be under-exposed by a stop...and that's about the most TMAX can handle. Those frames might lack contrast.

So I would go with developing for 400 in a method that is tried and trusted to you.
