Metal Oxides in Acrylic

I read a japanese research on doping acrylic with titanium dioxide and get refractive index 3 transparent material. My intention is to get most glass like , hard , metallic transparent surface on acrylic surfaces.
If I add may be silver oxide in to liquid acrylic and hardener mix , can I get metal oxide loaded Tiffany Glass look ?
Or what do you advise to get same touch and visibile sense as glass with acrylic.
