I picked an Opemus enlarger in a basement where it was getting moldy and baseboard has suffered from humidity, top and lower layers of plywood warped, cord sleeve partially degraded. Disassembly, cleaning, new cord, new baseboard and it's like new. The model is exactly: Opemus 6x6 type 74204. It seems to be a cheaper version of the Opemus-IIa, which is type 74214.
It comes with a Belar 75mm for 6x6. Couple years ago I was given in a box of various darkroom stuff, a Componon 50mm f2.8 M39, so I am thinking to use it for 24x36. But the circular lens board of the Opemus 6x6 has a M23,5 hole. No problem was I thinking, I will just get from somewhere a lens board with a M39 hole.... But, this lens board is 52mm Ø and I don't find such size with a M39 hole ....
I can easily hack an alternative but it would be neat to have a native board.
These Opemus-6x6 are common here in Europe, I have always seen them on local 2nd-hand places like finn.no tradera.se leboncoin.fr. allegro.pl. It is even listed on DigitaltMuseum: Förstoringsapparat
But then usual online places are empty for lens boards other than the native M23,5 hole for the Belars...
