Mentor Panorama 1 Flasport not working

Hey all finaly i got my Mentor panorama 1 working (the back was missing and now i converted it to take normal 8x10" cassettes) and as i want to try some paper negativs i would like to use flash.
so i ordert a cable but when i relase the shutter the flash is not triggered (i tried all settings from B over to the flash symbol)

Has any of you had the same Problem ? im affraid to open the box on the side of the camera with the flash sync port because the rest of the camera works fine

Hi, did you have any luck with your flash port? I have a similar issue, looking for a photo or diagram
