Hi Guys/gals

I'm looking for inexpensive film E6/C41 processing near CBD, and accessible via public transport. Vanbar in Fitzroy is possibly(?) my best option but I don't really know what's what in the C41/E6 world so any suggestions would be appreciated. Cost is a bigger factor than quality, I don't want expensive processing.

Also seeking options around Monash Uni in Clayton, if any.

Thanks
JJ

Nothing that I know of around Monash.

I'll second Marc's recommendations.

unfortunately Pinewood went belly-up a few years ago

Vanbars is in a prick of a place if coming from south-east (by car), don't know what public transport options would get you there (train into city, tram to Fitzroy??). They have/had? a mail-in service but I've never used it.

PRISM in North Melbourne is accessible by No. 57 (North Melbourne/W. Brunswick) tram or 49, 59 trams up Elizabeth Street. E6 Tuesday, Thursday, $12.60 (120 format). C41 processing on-demand. Michaels insists on upfront payment and have wrecked x2 of my 120 rolls (last two frames sliced! — "always a risk that might happen", says she!!) — not recommended at all.

Cost of E6 and C41 processing will continue to rise over time because the market for both is faltering and keeping it going is costly.
