Melbourne APUG Get-Together Jan 2008?

We usually manage to get together somewhere in or around Melbourne around early January. Last year was in the city. The year before was in the Grampians, and the year before was also in the city. Who's up for it, and where and when would you like to meet? Of course anybody from other states or countries is welcome to join us.

I'll go first and suggest the city or at least nearby, and also I prefer some time within the first couple of weeks in January.

I'll attempt to attend, it does depend on the day, especially if it's quite early in January.

In principle, I'm in - depends on timing. Would prefer a venue outside CBD. I've suggested the Botanic gardens before but that didn't fly.

Sorry to stuff things around, but would Saturday 12th earlyish also work for everybody? My wife has a commitment on the Sunday.

Saturday the 12th earlyish is better for me, gives me time to develop any film shot in the arvo and contact in the evening.

It could be stinking hot, I don't think many of us would like to be lugging around too much stuff in melting weather.

Err. Never Mind about 'Where's Gate E'. I googled it and got a map. That gate is in Birdwood Avenue, near the Garden's Glasshouses and Domain Rd.
