I'll be there early as I intend to photograph the shrine from a an angle of sunlight only available at this time of the year, we'll see about sunlight.
I will be in my blue Nissan campervan having a hot chocolate, by the time you lot turn up.
I kept checking 'grab-a-seat' for one of those $40 to Melbourne flights but didn't luck out this time. I'll probably head to AUS next year so will try to look some of you up then..
I'll be the young kid (of this group!) showing off his shiny x-mas backpack... and my partner Christine will be there too, using one of those compact unmentionables, mutter, mutter...

Marc, I'll look forward to seeing your shiny new backpack, mine has died from to much weight over too many years and too much Nikon stuff, I'm looking around.
Just reporting back. Marc, Christine, Mick, Pete and myself and my two-year-old son met in the Botanic Gardens. I can't believe I forgot to bring a tripod, but I borrowed Mick's for a couple of shots. We will try to organise something else sooner rather than later, probably around April in the cooler weather.
Here's some of the aforementioned suspects, in action...
L-R Me, Kevin, Mick, Pete, with Christine making this pic and the younger lad running around... somewhere! Dead Link Removed
Great to meet you all!
Thanks for the pic, Marc. Didn't even notice Christine taking that. The reason I'm facing the other way from everybody else is that I was making sure my son was not too far away, and not too close to the edge of the lake.
It was nice to meet you and Christine, Marc, and to catch up with Pete and Mick.
I'ts good that Christine got the best view of all of us - especially Mick.
As long as it's not too early in April, I'm up for a rematch.
The spouse and I are off for a month of caravanning during March and early April.
We retired folk have to be careful not to work too hard y'know.
