Meeting Place at Houston Foto Fest

Has anyone attended the Meeting Place at Houston FotoFest? I am considering registering, and would appreciate hearing about anybody's experience with it.

I attended twice....many, many years ago. I was a student the first time, and newly graduated the second. I did not go looking for gallery representation, etc. Just critique...needed to get opinions other than my school instructor's. (I did get included in a group show in Dallas )

It was an incredible experience! You are reviewed by people who would otherwise never see your work, criticism was always very useful (some suggestions and comments still very much in my mind). Aside from the formal reviews, the participants also show each other their work, share experiences, offer advice.

If I had a new portfolio of work, I'd be doing everything possible to go again!
