How many kind of mount exist for medium format slide projectors?
It 's possible put a zeiss p-planar (of pcp 80) on a Rolleivision 66 projector? And lens for Rolleivision 66 projectors could be put on a pcp 80?
Are there any other lenses that can be adapted to that projectors?
And Kindermann medium format slide projectors what mount have ?
Other advise are a accepted.
Thank you.
I think the OP is asking about lens mounts, not slide mounts.
The Kindermann 6x6 projector I recently sold used a lens mount that is different than the lens mount for my Rollei 6x6 projector.
I weould be surprised if there is any interchangeability between brands.
There may not be much interchangeability between models.
I've got a Schneider lens on my 35mm Kodak projector. I wanted a brand new Leitz projector back in the 80's and couldn't afford it so I bought a Kodak. The camera shop had one Schneider lens made for Kodak projectors which they said rivaled the Leitz for a lot less money. Of course the Kodak projector did not at all rival Leica.
I always thought slide projectors (35mm or medium format) had priority mounts and you couldn't interchange lenses. My Schneider was the only third party lenses which I knew about. Of course there could be others.
Alan Gales:
What Schneider do you have? And what is the model of your Kodak projector?
For 35mm projectors many lenses are interchangeable from one and another brand. Perhaps I can help you.
Now I would know how it is in the medium format.
I've got the Schneider Vario-Prolux MC 70-120mm f/3.5 lens and I used it on my Kodak 4400 projector. It worked great. I haven't projected my 35mm slides in years though. I need to get it out again!
I was just saying that I know at least Schneider made 3rd party lenses for Kodak projectors. Maybe they made lenses that worked on medium format projectors too. It's possible other manufacturers made 3rd party lenses too. I don't think that you can swap lenses from Hasselblad to Rollei to Kindermann etcetera. I've got a Kindermann 6x6 projector but I've never tried another brand lens in it though.
Your Schneider Vario-Prolux MC 70-120mm f/3.5 lens have 52,5mm of diameter and spiral mount. You can use it on Kodak Ektapro, Ektalite, Carousel S-av, Simda, Elmo, Leitz RT and Reflecta profiline ... simply on the best projectors.
Instead in the medium format seem than every brand could have a proper mount.
But I attend other confirms.
