Medium Format Daydreaming

I have an Mamiya RZ67 with 4 lenses. I am more than satisfied with the quality of the camera and all the lenses.

I do not use it. I much prefer using my Contax RTSIII with any of the 9 lenses I have for it, all primes..8 Zeiss and 1 Leica.

For me, generally speaking, I much prefer and mostly recommend sticking with cameras that I know will be used as opposed to being paperweights.

When I am sitting and afflicted with gas, I lift one cheek from the chair and then I feel better again.
 
Medium Format - you bet

Yes they still make MF camera's and intelligent people buy them.
I bought my first MF camera last Year a Mamiya 7ii and 4 lenses and I've now bought a second MF (or is it a small LF) its a 6x24
I prefer Provia 100F for landscapes and for architecture BW but I have not yet decided on which brand-type yet, about to start experimenting with XP2

1. I sure do. A 35mm neg looks mighty tiny next to a 6x7cm neg.
2. Best MF experience ever: Shooting my gramma with a Rolleicord and Fuji NC 160. Mom cried when she saw the shot.
3. I mostly shoot b/w but thats just because I can process the film myself. If I had my druthers I'd shoot nothing but color film except for some portraiture and maybe street shooting. Although, I do like kodak 400CN a lot.
4. Lord, I had GAS bad at one time. Pardon me. I have a Kiev 60 with metered prism, a Seagull (that should really be named an Albatross), a Lubitel 166u (I keep the 645 mask in it), a Bronica GS-1 that a friend put on my desk one day and said "Here. Have this." And finally my Rolliecord.
 
 
Count me in as a devotee of medium format.

The Rollei VA and the Yashica 124 are both used for outdoor work when I don't wish to be seen. Whereas I tend to use me Mamiya 330S far more often i.e. when I'm not engaging in 'seedy' street photography.

I use a Bronica SAQi in the studio and occassionally outdoors .

When I really don't mind being seen and feeling 'wreckless' (landscape work etc.) the Fugi GW 690 III and 690 GSW III are used.

As for film, I use black and white almost exclusively. The only time I use colour is if some else had told me specifically that's what they would like.

1. Not so much anymore. Now mostly shooting LF - 4x5-5x7-8x10. I'll break out the Hassy when I have need for a color portrait job or somesuch.

2. I had a great time hauling my Hassy rig around Spain with me. Ran into a number of interesting people with whom I chatted thanks to the camera. As your camera goes up in size, the number of social interactions you have around the camera go up exponentially. Unfortunately, the quality doesn't necessarily keep up with the quantity.

3. Hasselblad stuff - a 500c/m body, 50, 80, 120 lenses, four film backs, Superwide with the CF lens, and a couple closeup accessories - 16mm extension tube, macro bellows. Were it not for the economy of shooting medium format roll film, I'd probably give it up for the 4x5 entirely.
