Hi,
I am looking to service my Mamiya RB67 - Body, Lenses and Film Backs - and C220 in Berlin.

Any leads to camera shops who will be able to do that?

Thanks
Vishal

I recommend you to send them via parcel to this friend of mine in slovenia.

He's a professional (an actual electromechanic engineer) and does excellent service, much better than me. On cameras that are much more complex than the C220. He would make a splendid job with your C220. AFAIK he speaks german too!

Thanks Flavio for your reply. I am going to Berlin. I’ll carry the camera. The film loading knob on the left has cracked and I am not getting it anywhere. Tried looking for a Spares only model also but couldn’t find one. I’ll connect with him and personally visit him once I am in Berlin and see what best can be worked out.

How can it crack? It is 100% metal... Perhaps what has cracked is the pivot (the axis) of this lever, and that would be a serious damage that would require a new camera body.

No it’s not 100% Metal. It’s plastic and metal disc inside. So mine is a Mamiya C220 Professional. It’s slightly different in operations than the regular C220.

The Person whom I bought it from had purchased the camera 25 years ago and used only twice. It’s in mint condition but it was lying wrapped in a plastic bag. Probably because of heat and warm conditions in his house the plastic over a long time became brittle. I went to change the film and the knob just cracked. I am having a hard time getting a replacement. Tried looking on eBay for spares only version but the same model is not available. It’s a bit cumbersome changing film right now.

It looks like this. This is a similar knob for the take up spool.

Alternatively to gaining a spare part you may consider printing that plastic part or having it turned. The look would be different though.

I believe there is him eczema me a service in southern Germany and I know of another excellent generals camera mechanic in Cologne but none in Berlin. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have given that a thought. But the mechanism is a stiff system. It’s for any of those cameras. Pulling it might lead to the 3D printed on to crack.

I honestly don’t mind trying it out. If you do have a source let me know. I’ll get it printed.

I think, but can't be sure from your photos, that many might refer to your camera model as a 220f.
