Meaning of MC at Rolleinar

I found two Rolleinar at photohaus costs 49 euros per lens.
One of them MC , one of them lack of this term.

What are these lenses for , 35 mm or MF ? Are they zeiss generic ? Who produced and designed them ? German made ?

Which camera carries them ?

I think this is very good price for Rollei quality !

I can offer an explanation of MC as being Multi Coated. This would suggest to me it is a modern lense as oppposed to "old" lense. They are both Distagon design which is researchable but I don't know enough to tell you anything else.

Thank you , yes of course , it is multi coated term. I couldnt think fast because of price. If I am not wrong these are suspectible for me with being distagon. By the way , I always tried to understand and love distagon but their hasselblad catalog pictures - scene , open air - pissed me off. But interior pictures are better. Grain goes better with bw zeiss shots.

I'm thoroughly confused now, because I thought a Rolleinar was a closeup lens for the Rolleiflex TLRs.

Made by Mamiya I think.

Any lens with the Zeiss name on it has Zeiss technicians overseeing quality control and will have been designed in Germany.

Those are Japanese lenses.

The f4 Zeiss Tele-Tessar 135mm is probably the poorest 35mm lens I own. I'd not be surprised if those Japanese lenses perform better. (The Zeiss Sonnar 135 f2.8 was the top of the line 135mm lens, but I don't have one.)

I did get a Rolleinar 80-200 zoom attached to an SL35E body recently. That Rolleinar performs fantastic. The Rolleinar 80-200 I have was made by Tokina.

True, but the linked web--page lists them under the page Heading Rollei Zeiss lenses which they aren't with images of X=Zeiss lenses at the top.

The Zeiss Sonnar 135 f2.8 was the top of the line 135mm lens, but I don't have one.

I have an f3.5 135mm Zeiss Sonnar which is a nice lens. I have not seen an f2.8 version though.

You can see the 135/2.8 here below. I have not heard much of the 3.5/135 Sonnar, can you post a picture? (The CZJ lens? Screw mount?)
