We successfully coated a first industrial run of MCC.
The paper is now in the hardening phase.
After 6 weeks we can start cutting it up and shipping it to distributors.

Since we made a limited amount in the first run we decided to cut it to formats 8x10 and up only. All other sizes will be filled with forthcoming coatings.

Best regards,

Mirko

Congratulations! I'm not one to check Freestyle every week for availability, when it does become available for order here in the US please post that info here. I'll be sure to pick some up. Shawn

Bob,

we did not get enough material to make printer rolls on the first coating.
I will try to reroll some for you so you can at least test the material but it won´t be enough for a large production.

Best regards,

Mirko

fantastic news. The old MCC was the best all round paper in existence, bar none. The new Ilford MG WT is also amazing, but warmer. The MC can do what MG4 and WT can do. Perfect - warm when needed but neutral too. And the depth....

I placed an order with Freestyle today. Looking forward to 100 or 250 sheet size boxes in 8x10.

Thanks for bringing her back!

Shipping of MCC expect for September 2009

On your website you say that you expect to be able to ship MCC paper by September 2009. This will be next tuesday. Where can the paper be ordred, knowing that I live in Luxembourg.

Thanks for any feedback.

Thank You Mirko

I ordered three packages of the 8x10 25 from Freestyle last week and expect to receive them today or tomorrow.

Mirko, thank you for your guts, determination, and creativity to bring this product back to the market after digital dislocation of the last several years. It is truly an accomplishment. I wish you and your team nothing but success - that you can profitably service your worldwide customers providing these great products.

As another poster mentioned, I am sure that you will find demand for 100 or 250 sheet boxes of 8x10 once you get your production fully up and running..

Best Personal Regards,
George

Thanks.

Will there be any distributors of this in Asia, or do I have to have it shipped from overseas if I want some? That may well be a deal-breaker for me.

Also, what about packages with more than 25 sheets? A 25-sheet package won't last me one printing session.

Any chance of someone addressing these questions?
