Hello all. I'm not sure where to start, so I guess that's why I'm here. I'm an amateur photographer that has recently been displaced back into my hometown of Nashville, where I am now trying to feel out the photography scene. The art community here in general is booming. There are tons of resources for painters, printmakers, etc. in the forms of community studios, guilds, and the like, but I have yet to find a community darkroom. There are very few options, it seems, in terms of accessible and affordable darkrooms in the area and I was wondering if any of you might know of one, or might have one and would be interested in trading assistance, or an apprenticeship in exchange for darkroom useage. I'm trying to pull together a portfolio for graduate school and get myself back into the darkroom. Just a thought.
