The International Center of Photography is featuring the work of Mr. Munkacsi, along with portraits done by Edward Steichen and assorted work by Weegee, Lisette Model, André Kertész, and Danny Lyon. If you're in NYC, or planning as trip there in the near future, this place is a must see. Seeing work of this quality is a humbling experience. Inspirational to all, and potentially enough to make one give up on photography forever :D

I saw a Munkacsi exhibition in San Francisco a few years ago, and agree that it's well worth a visit to any museum that is showing his work. The most surpising part to me were his sports shots. He had wonderful pictures of soccer and, if I remember correctly, even motor sports, which were especially humbling when you considered the equipment he must have used.
