Hi!

Last week I bought a used Jobo ATL 2 processor.
I haven´t done some real development with it yet.
I have been searching the internet for some kind of manual, but still I haven´t found any. Somebody who has it as a PDF file? Or know where to download it from?

Jobo.com support pages have manuals for the Jobo 22xx series but not specifik for the Jobo ATL 2.

Also, when I received the Jobo I found out that it has two water inlets. One for temepered water and one for cold water. Can I run it just on tempered water? (Need the manual to find out...)

Regards,
Sebastian

Manual for ATL 2

If you still need it, I have the users manual in PDF format and would be glad to forward it to you via email. The file is over 10 meg so I'll have to split the file in two before I send it. I also have a service manual, but would have to scan it into a pdf before I send it to you.

The tempered water line is for rinse water. The cold water line is for filling the water bath and to put cold water into the water bath to lower the temperature.

Let me know what you need, it will take a day or two to get it done.

I have bought recently one Jobo ATL-2 too, on German eBay... it seem to be in good working order (I haven't installed yet) but it comes with instructions manual in German! Can someone send me the instructions manual too, in English, please? Thanks in advance... the ATL I have bought seems to be an hybrid, that is to say an ATL-2 "body" (black) with an ATL-3 (grey) head (it is a serviced machine)!... I hope the ATL-2 manual would be adequate for this machine!

Cheers

Luis

hi Bob,

I already have the user manual for the ATL-1, but will be very interested by a service manual (even for ATL-2, the hardware is basically the same).
If my Jobo is working well 95% of the time, it is regularly under "electronic epileptic fit" (I cannot found a better description), and the automat goes berserk !
I think it's an internal connection problems, but without much precise explanation.

Raphael

Sorry Raphael, do You still have the ATL-1 instruction manual? I've bought an ATL-1, but I can't find the manual anywhere; if You have it, could You kindly copy and send it to me (free of any charge, obviously, I should refund to You any cost)? Thank You, best regards

GREAT information... The manual is a HUGE help with my ATL-2 rebuild project. I do have a question about the download link. After opening the download the service manual stops at page 88 of 145 pages. Would anyone else have the second half of the repair manual.. it would be of GREAT help. Thank you.

Thank you for the information. I re-download the file and found the pages to 94 which is to the end of Chapter 12.

Because of the discrete parts I need to replace I have hope to be able to find Chapter 13 which contains the schematics and the comprehensive parts list. This help with the repairs on the PCB's will be a great aid.

On the net there is only that shortened version around. You might inquire at Jobo.

Hello to all.. it has been an interesting path with this Jobo ATL-2. Being the person I am since my last log on I have been able to compile enough information about the ATL to really roll up my sleeves and get right down to the last stainless screw holding it together. It processor is now clean and starting to go back together. I have hopes to do a wet test by this weekend. It has been a challenge finding some of the parts and two parts critical parts that do not seem to exist I needed to fashion the repair to make that part functional involving form, fit and function. I also think I found all the damaged circuit traces and damaged discrete components that were going to impact the operations of the controller boards. I will log back in later this week as I get further along .. I sincerely appreciate all those who have reached out and put me onto some of the information that helped find additional the additional information. I will post a link to where I was able to obtain a fairly complete service manual as soon as I can remember where on the world wide web I stumbled upon it...

The fact alone that you got a hammer lying at your workbench tells me that this all is no easy endeavour...

Would not the designation of the parts in question and eqivalent-tables be sufficient ? Or is this idea too naive?

Yah .. .. it needed just a little "tad" of friendly persuasion with some glued parts that were not part of the original assembly... The person who did all this botching to this ATL should never be allowed to own any kind of photo processing equipment.. every!

The information I was able to find got me down to the component number and the original part number and part's physical values. That has been very helpful.

Hello Fred, I'm in Rochester Hills, MI with a Jobo Alt-2 that has been idle for 6 years and I just started to clean it up and check it out to put it up for sale. I just found this forum, searching for a Jobo Manual, and see that you have recently been active getting your JoBo together. I haven't found my op manual as of yet in my storage room, although I have found info on tanks and some op instructions. I just started to look through them, but the Basic user's Manual would be help to include with the unit. Please contact me to chat about how your project is going

Hi Fred! Schematics are mentioned in some posts, but no links or offers that I can find. Can you share that info?
markatos@mindspring.com A friend is ready to install 10 or so fresh tantalum capacitors and lithium battery but it would be great to understand more about the circuits before reassembling! Delighted to read about your broad spectrum rehab. Great example of resuscitating this classic piece of phototechnology!

Hello, just acquired an ATL2 that was long time left in a room without use, and I am having the same issue with the fuse 3 of 1.6A blown when I switch it on...

I downloaded the service manual for the ATL2 and ATL3 included before in this post, but as mentioned, final chapters with board schematics are missing. Did anyone get them?.

In the following link in Scribd there is also a service manual, and it says that it has 144 pages, so it seems complete, but I cannot confirm as I have no subscription to the site:

Board numbers are 24050 and 24051.

If anyone has also the schematics for the ATL2500 I will appreciate if you could share, as we are also trying to repair one of these units.

Thank you very much.
