If you are buying new (digital) cameras, they are all foremost automatic. I prefer to shoot manually. A learned skill not really needed these days.

My question is if the digital revolution had not started (or taken off), would the likes of fully manual camera exist in today's new camera landscape?

Just like what happened before digital, you would be able to get fully automated 35mm cameras that could be used manually.
Just like what happened before digital, the market would, however, be saturated with consumer-level fully automated point-and-shoot cameras that could not be used manually.
