Manhattan Midnight Mini MeetUp !

The Olde Guy With The White Hair, And Beard Is Coming To Town.

In August !!!

The Banana Is Coming To NYC For One Week Only.

Our APUG Brother, John { The Banana } Scott will be in Manhattan
from August 8th. - 13th. John, and I are planning a Mini Manhattan
MeetUp on August 10th. @ 11:15PM. Hopefully the weather will
cooperate, and will be able break out the 4X5 and shoot some
breeze, and shoot some sheets. There was also mention of Beer !!!

Methinks, it's going to be lots of fun, until one of us falls asleep ...

I would not be able to get to Manhattan until 11:00PM'ish ...

Mr. Scott will be in the vicinity of West 49th. Street, I'm assuming that he would not
mind starting the evening a bit earlier with the rest of his APUG Associates. When you
get to that age, it's always best to get an early start on the festivities. Any suggestions
for a location that would be suitable for night photography, and NY nightlife ?

There's 42nd st, Rockafeller center, and Bryant Park in that area. We could go to either or all. the ICP is also right near there too but might be closed at that time probably.

I haven't been to Times Square in ten years, and the sights were amazing !
I felt like a tourist in my own city. John, and Nadine are even more amazing !
Or maybe it was just Johns Fuji 6X7 that had us amazed ...
They are such wonderful people, and we had a great time seeing the sights,
and sipping a few beers, and talking about photography !
Nadine was such an angel to sit there and listen to us talking all that gibberish.

We'll Definitely Need To Schedule A Manitoba MeetUp !

A Manitoba meetup! If I could find a cheap way to get there I would be there.

I had a lot of fun last night. The only thing I like more about photography than shooting film is waxing poetically about it haha. I only shot just under half a roll, but I developed it anyway lol. I'll do my usual photo spam now =P.
