Mamyia 120 back adapter?

I was wondering if anyone know of an adapter that will faciliate the use of Mamiya RB67 rollfilm backs to be used on Plaubel 4x5" cameras?

More specific I want tu use 3 ProS 120 backs on a Plaubel Makiflex body.

Anyone know of a source to such an adapter?

Not sure about Plaubel but I've seen them for some others.

You have any links or pics for that, so I can compare with the Makiflex here?

PS a couple of my ProS backs are 120/220, even if 220 is scarcer than hens' teeth around these shores.....

Unless I've lost my memory completely the Makiflex is a 6x9 SLR with a rotating back. Plaubel made a 4x5 adapter to all use of 4x5 sheet film.

Unless I've lost my memory completely Mamiya ProS roll holders have interlocks that make using them on a plain vanilla Graflok back impossible. I could be mistaken about this, ask about it on www.graflex.org Early RB roll holders can be used on 2x3 Graflok back.

Sounds to me like you're succumbing to the corrupting influence of found money, sorry, roll holders.

Yes Dan you're right here, the Makiflex is a 6x9 SLR, and it is LARGE, it can be wrestled into being a 9x9cm SLRE by way of sheet film adapters that should work with the Plaubel back, that might be seen as small from 4x5" sheet film though.....

And you're right abouth the ProS backs, they came into my posession as part of another deal I was getting stuff for my Mamiya Press, which is a 6x9 rangefinder, I never had any use for these backs and was contemplating finding a large Mamiya RB67 SLR, when the idea of using them on my Makiflex stuck. Upon reading your answer I gave them a closer look, and you are indeed right, there is some interlock in place, butr I think it can be circumvented, albeit a nuisance.....

Now what to do with these ProS roll film backs, they are fully opoerational, to bad tossing them...........

The Pro-S backs are definitely more desirable than the Pro backs for anyone with a Mamiya RB67 Pro or Pro-S.

It may be easy to arrange a trade.

And by the way, technically the backs consist of a shell and an insert. One can swap the inserts (120 for 220) and use the same shell, as long as the shells and inserts come from the same generation (Pro with Pro, Pro-S with Pro-S or Pro-SD with Pro-SD).

Hehe I'd be glad to trade Pro-S backs for backs for my Mamiya press, saves me from finding a new camera body, a slew of lenses and a lot of other stuff, plus that a RB67 is way heavier than my Press.......
or maybe a roll-film back for my Plaubel Makiflex, but I guess that will not be an easy to set up trade.....
