Mamiyca C330 screens

I've got a C330F and from what I remember from when I had a C330S a few years ago that screen was brigther. Now, the F screens come with the frame vs just the plastic screen the S has, however if you turn the F screen around there is a little tab which slides so you can pop out the plastic screen bit, ie looks the same as the S one.

Does anyone know if the screens can be swapped like that? The size should be the same but the thickness may be different, anyone has tried this before?
