There was the "original C and then the C2.?
Did much change from one model to the next.?
Were they a decent camera to own.....for "General Purpose" snap-shots and street-photography.
Thank You

The C and C2 are nice to shoot with. I had a C and if I remember correctly, the biggest difference is that the C only has a focus knob on one side and the C2 has it on both sides. I sold the C for parts because one of the advance knob gears was stripped and wouldn't wind the film consistently. I later bought a C2 and use it frequently. My example happened to come with a Voigtlander(? not sure of the brand) rapid rewind knob that fits over the film wind on the C2 and makes it really easy to use.

As far as usage for 'general purpose' and street, they operate the same as any other TLR so it really depends on how you work.

I prefer my C2 to my C220 as I'm more used to it. They are light tight boxes for film - lenses matter more.

Yes.....no doubt.
I have been interested in a TLR for many years.
A member of APUG has the first C Model for sale.....so it made me wonder how much "Improvement" there was with the C2.......

Yeah, that one was also in very good condition. I've never owned a TLR and I seriously considered it as well. There is little info on the net about the first one, or if there is its hard to find among all the hits for C2, C3, C33, and C330. In the end I decided to pass because of the size of the Cs compared to the most of the others.

(I do love the teeth on the C though. It give them a look that none of the later Cs have.)
