Hi guys,

This is my first post, not sure if its in the right section, Im sure the mods will move it if not.

I have an old Mamiya ZE-X that needs a complete overhaul. My father took it to a repairer in the 80's because it was (to quote my father) "underexposing or overexposing or something". Basically he was told not to bother with it so it has been sitting in a filing cabinet for a few decades.

Id love to have it overhauled and brought back to working order, especailly seeing as I have a number of brand new Mamiya lenses that have been sitting in the filing cabinet along side it.

It would be great to return it to my father in working order.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some suggestions on where I could have this done.

I know there are Canon/Nikon etc specialists who guarantee to repair cameras, so Im wondering if there was someone who could do the same for my old Mamiya.

Anyway Ill leave it at that and get browsing the forums.

Thanks guys,

Catstrat

I don't know about repair but I can tell you I own a substantial number of 35mm cameras of all kinds and the roll I ran through a Mamiya ZE that I bought was fantastic. I put new batteries in it and sold it, which I intend to correct very soon now. It is worth fixing being my point.
