Mamiya TLR lens question

I've recently been given a bunch of old photo gear amongst which are a couple of Mamiya TLR lens sets. Both are older chrome nose sets. Both seem to work fine (but need a good cleaning). The 80mm looks good but I have a question about the 135mm (marked in centimeters). Looking at the back the shutter and aperture assembly are outside of the lens. No glass element behind them. Is this normal on this lens or is my set missing something? I've never seen a lens like this, but this is also the only 135mm TLR set I've handled.

Thanks much,

Mike is absolutely correct. The 135mm shutter blades are normally exposed in the backside of that lens. It's the only one of the seven Mamiya TLR system lenses like that. My 135 is exactly the same. The standard warning is to just watch your fingers.

Here is one of the photos from that auction, in case the above URL stops working in the future...

Yes it is O.K, I've used the 135 lens pair for around 30 years it's a great portrait lens but you need to take care to keep the dirt out of it.
