Mamiya TLR interchangeable parts?

I have a Mamiyaflex where the outside bellows are starting to go.

Someone is selling a C330 for parts near by. Am I able to change parts in between them?

The WLF and Prism finder should fit?

The lenses should fit?

Focussing knobs should fit?

The lenses should fit? Maybe. I have a black 80mm on my C2 and I had to file down a corner at the top slightly to be able to latch it down. Will they work? Yes. Will they fit? Probably with some modification depending on the lens.

Focussing knobs should fit? Can't say for sure, but probably not. Is there something wrong with your focusing knobs?

Thanks cramej for the quick reply.

The c330 parts camera has a missing knob, and no WLF/finder.

I have (what I believe to be) the original 135mm lens on the Mamiyaflex.

It's a shame I was hoping I could have just used the parts from my Mamiyaflex on the C330. The outside bellows are starting to get holes and tears from age, while the inside bellows seems fine I suspect it might not be long before they go as well.

As for the lenses, have a look here: http://grahamp.dotinthelandscape.org/mfaq/mfaq-04.html . I think it might well be that earlier lenses could fit newer cameras, but that the reverse is less likely.

The original Mamiyaflex was designed for lenses using the Seikosha-MX shutters. Those lenses can be a problem on the later bodies as the cocking arms and release levers were different sizes and covered different arcs comapred to the later shutter models. The Mamiyaflex body ought to accept later lenses (Seikosha-S and Seiko shutters). The finders (not screen) may fit. The internal parts are very different.

The outer bellows on the TLR is there for protection. The inner bellows pair does the light trapping. So as long as the outer set have not disintegrated completely it is more cosmetic than anything.

The original Mamiyaflex had a stepped base, which makes tripod use interesting. The transition from Mamiyaflex to Mamiyaflex C2 came quite quickly, and by the C3 the design settled down.

From my understanding I have a C2 with the Mamiyaflex name on it. At least that's what someone with more knowledge than me told me.

How durable is the inner bellows? I am afraid to check.

How can I know which lens with which shutter I have?

Sorry if I seem uneducated, I am not keen on the technical side of things. Even when developing sometimes I am not that good with temperatures.

The earlier shutters were the chrome Seikosha MX with a top speed of 1/400 second, after these came the second generation chrome shutters, Seikosha S with a top speed of 1/500 secound. The name is under the taking (lower) lens.

Update for internet reference.

I found a C3 parts camera and tried changing things over to my C2 Mamiyaflex

The WLF, the porrofinder, and the prism finder are all interchangeable. I have not tried the chimney/metered finder but I assume it is as well.

The lenses I have access to 135 and 65 do mount on each body. I have not had time to run a test to see if the speeds are accurate. I have also heard it may change the focusing, again I have not had time to run some film to compare if there is a difference.

The inside parts, including the bellows are made of different material, and I would suspect are mounted differently. I did not want to mess with this.

I will try to update this later if I remember to, if and when I get a chance to test things out.

There is a seller (ecbuyonline2008) on Ebay that sells bellows of various sizes and sorts, maybe he can provide you with a bellows for the C2.
