Hello everyone, I recently bought am Mamiya Super 23, with two backs, one multi format and one 6x9 only. I am using the 6x9 back only.

So when I first tried the camera, the images were perfect, that's why I bought it. Viewfinder was dirty, I opened the camera and cleaned it.

With that I introduced some light leaks, as I removed some crumbling light seals. Then I fixed that light leaks, they were easily visible in a dark room.

Now these new light leaks happen and I have no Idea where they are coming from. Any ides from the community? Images here: https://imgur.com/gallery/4ZEfSLK

Looks to me to be a leak that is happening to the film when it is away from the image opening. Put the film inside the back as if it was being shot, then move a frame earlier and a frame later. I bet you will find that the hard-ish line in aligned with a roller, the film itself as comes off or goes onto a spool, or some other part in the back.

Anyway, key part of the process- put the film in the camera. It will at least show you where the leak is happening.
