Hi. Selling my Mamiya Press system. I love this camera but I'm preparing to move in a bit, so I need to sell most of my belongings.
Contents:
1. Mamiya Super 23 Black body with grip - from USA, flawless except small dent on the top corner (rangefinder metal cover). Rangefinder was fully disassembled and cleaned and calibrated.
2. 100mm f/3.5 lens (retractable) - from Japan - flawless, shutter speeds measured electronically. Comes with metal hood.
3. 150mm f/5.6 lens - from Japan - flawless, shutter speeds measured electronically. Comes with rubber hood.
4. 50mm f/6.3 lens - from USA - CLA'd in March, tested with film, glass without flaws, works great. Comes with metal hood.
4. Black 6x9 film back - from USA - serviced with new seals, new cogs and springs from Bill Rogers (BIG THANK YOU)
5. Black 6x9 film back - from USA - new seals, with the original orange plastic darkslide reminder, works like new
6. Silver 6x7 film back - from USA - new seals, serviced, bottom screw was missing so it was replaced and taped shut with gaffers tape just in case. Handmade darkslide. Tested and works great.
7. Older olive Mamiya Press body - from Japan - serviced rangefinder, my most used camera, nothing wrong.
8. Olive 6x9 multiformat film back - from Japan - new seals, works great.
9. Olive ground glass - works as intended.
I don't really want to sell this, but it's inevitable. I may still travel with it. I had it since 2021 and was slowly building the whole set. The black camera body was the latest acquisition, that I used only with one roll.
I have a Hasselblad, which is more ergonomic, but at least in my experience, more faulty (went through 3 bad bodies to find a reliable one, all from major retailers). I will be selling the Hasselblad too. In the meantime, please buy my fully serviced 50mm Distagon ($350).
I can ship worldwide, but the cost will be high, you can run an estimate on ParcelMonkey for ~10lbs package to your country. This way you will know if it's worthwhile.
Within the US, I cover the shipping, and I price the whole set at $1190 based on sold prices. I know I won't get the money back spent on service etc but at least I'm trying to be at average market value for corresponding condition.
Cash price $1100 in Dallas, TX with in person pick up.
