Safe to say there's some difference between the Zuiko and Sekor lenses (even if they're the same element count/layout, they'll differ slightly in prescription and glass selection). FWIW, I've got the Zuiko on my Mamiya Six (6x6/6x4.5 with captive mask leaves, red window only, no viewfinder mask that I've found), and I've never seen any reason to dislike the Zuiko lens -- I've got a couple Olympus Pen EE family cameras with Zuiko lenses, too, and they're excellent.

I'm not even sure what model I have, but I think it's done by features (other than the Automat which is clearly marked as such).

thanks Donald. My mamiya six is dead ( a IVB or S ) , with a Sekor and now I have to buy a new one. I was very very happy with the sekor !!! ANd now that I am looking on ebay, most of them are mounted with zuiko ...so its the reason Why I askef for this. I would be interesetd to hear the opinion of someone that used both !

Hi André

I have had 3 of these cameras ( maybe 4? )
might be my favorite MF camera, a dream to use, sharp when it needs to be and nice OOF area wide open..
there is someone named Dirk Spennemann who wrote the definitive history on this camera
and all its design, I can't seem to find his website where he eloquently talked about all this stuff, but if you ever find it, you will never be sorry, He wrote some of the info in the links I provided you. ..
He's from OZ and a super nice guy !
