Mamiya RZ67 wide angle lenses with minimal distortion??

I would like to use my Mamiya RZ67 camera for interior and architecture photography.
However, my 50mm W lens and 75mm Shift have noticeable distortion. Too much in my opinion.
Does anyone knows wether the 50mm ULD or 65mm L-A are improved and have better/minimal distortion?

I would love to use my RZ67 for interior photography. I love it as a steady camera on tripod,
and like the fact I can easily change from portrait to landscape without having to tilt my tripod head.

But if there are no wide angle lenses with minimal distortion, I' have to look for an other solution.

I have never tested my 50 ULD against the straight lines of a building. If I get the time this week, I'll do so and scan the result for you to see.

I think it's more noticeable for interiors as the subject/lines are more closer.

True, so that i try to use it for further lines and outdoor more, and if i can level the camera a bit then i may have slightly less distortion then i can correct later by software if needed.

I was hoping to buy that 75mm shift lens, but you mentioned that you still see that annoying distortion, then what is the purpose of having this shift 75mm lens? or this shift is only in one orientation so it is pointless for parallel lines?

By the way, if you look at my gallery here of the "Heritage Area" photos, all of them were taken by Mamiya RZ and 50mm ULD.

Interesting! I'm not aware of any suitable darkroom process/practise "software" designed to compensate for my equipment shortcomings and/or limited craftsmanship.

50ULD and 65 M/L-A are excellent lenses, should have near zero distortion from an inherent design point of view. 75 shift is nice too, though at that point it's almost better to use a 4x5.

I love shift lenses, but 75mm is just not wide enough for architecture photography.
And my RZ67 75mm shift shows distortion.

My P67 75mm shift doesn't, but it's a less handy system for architecture photography.
I love the Mamiya for it's rotating back to change orientation.
