...well Ed, NON floating lens would be smaller and lighter , am i right ? Dimensions and weight are vital for my style of shooting with RZ67 cameras.

I thought only the single coated RB lens was non floating, maybe wrong again?
Light and small are not 67 attributes normally

the 65mm f/4 non-floating version may be a little smaller and lighter, but not by enough to matter, I'd say. The M/L-A (floating) version is significantly better, not that much more expensive, and not much heavier/longer. It's worth getting the best version, e.g. the floating version. Its' very easily hand-holdable, if that is how you shoot.

...yes Ed you are right - i need it for hand held shooting. But if i understand correctly , there is one ring extra (for floating element control) and the whole procedure would be a little complicated with it....but maybe i`m wrong

It depends. Do you do a lot of close-focusing? Then you might be adjusting the floating element a lot. If you're sticking to a common focus point then maybe not.

I use mine handheld all the time, usually with L-grip, AEII prism, and motor drive. It is a bit hefty but pretty ergonomic overall for such a large camera, and as a general-purpose tool it is unsurpassed in the medium format world I think. One can shoot it almost as fast as a 35mm SLR.

The floating element ring is no big deal - and it's not super-critical that it's exactly right. Somewhere in the correct distance range is good enough, generally. If you are skilled enough to shoot the RZ67 handheld in general, you can easily handle the floating element ring.
