A problem has appeared while shooting my last 3 rolls on my RZ67 Pro II. Initially the rolls were shooting fine, but after taking some shots, at one point, suddenly the winder would not stop and the film would just keep advancing. It happened at a different frame each time. The back I'm shooting with is pretty much brand new (sold to me unopened from a camera shop) and I replaced the battery, and cleaned the contacts just in case. However, the issue persists. I'm not sure what is causing the mechanism to stop working mid roll, but this camera is my go to for portrait work and I rely on it to function properly.

Any suggestions are hugely appreciated!

Thanks!

Have the back serviced. The lubrication has likely dried out causing the failure. Mamiya uses a clutch system in the film advance and the clutch is slipping.

Ok! Thanks. I'll bring the back into a repair store soon
