Mamiya RZ67 PRO II Darkslide Issue

Hello,

I have just purchased a MAmiya RZ67 PRO II from ebay - I am new to it but I believe there to be a problem, can anyone confirm.

With the camera set to the white position for the shutter and M on the dial (I have no film loaded). The camera fires with the darkslide in, in landscape, but in portrait mode I receive a red dot on screen and it won't let me.

Well - I have got not any Idea what's going wrong with your RZ67?
But your attached link gives much more information - and it is quite informative.

But T.M.F. ? .......I've got also the idea you
should better spend $80 - $ 120 to a competend service mechanic talent.

No good Idea ?
