Mamiya RZ67 focussing knob removal

Hi,
I wonder if you can help me. I have a Mamiya RZ 67 professional. The focussing rail will not fully retract into the camera, so I am trying to take the sides off to see what the problem is.
The issue I am having is that I can not remove the focussing knob.
I removed the leather cover and the central screw, but can’t get the metal plate off.
It does not look the same as the one in videos I have seen as there are not cut outs in the metal plate to allow you to prise off the plate.
I have tried to lever it off from the edge with a screwdriver, but can’t get underneath the plate.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Another thought. Have you removed the lens and film holder and viewfinder so you can see inside the camera?

I have done this, but can’t see anything obvious stopping the focussing from fully retracting.
