I've been slowly building up my RB67 Pro S system. Browsing on KEH, I would like to add one more film magazine and would like some advice on the 120/220 6x7 power winder.

There seems to be little price difference between it and the Pro SD back. I like the fact that it accepts 120/220 film (although I mostly shoot 120). Also if it has a dark slide slot built in.

I would also like to know if it lacks the foam seals like the Pro SD backs. Not having to manually wind each frame is a plus, but not really an extreme burden. Any user experiences are appreciated.

There are two power winder rigs for the RB. The older model (pro) is a two piece unit. The actual motor bolts on the bottom of the camera, and the back is powered by this. OK, but adds extra weight and complexity to the operation. The backs use foam seals.

The second, and newer is built along the lines of the Pro SD. The motor and batteries are internal to the unit. There are no foam seals. I have two of these and they work great. Wish I had one for 6.45...

Both use the same darkslide.

just out of curiosity, you do know that you can store your darkslide on the left side of the body, don't you? Been that way since the first version.
