I recently got a Mamiya RB 67 Pro S which has the word "SAMPLE" engraved in e red circle on the front of the camera S/N C199145.
The label is located on the front bezel at upper corner opposite to "Pro S" mark. Looks to have been done at factory delivery since the circle in embeded into the leatherette that has been exactly punched for the purpose.
I wonder what it means ? something like pre-serial model ? shop demonstration camera ? any other idea ?
