Quick question about the Mamiya Press 65mm f6,3 - does it have a way to lock the shutter open like the 100mm does for use with the ground glass back? Just got this little dude in the post and it has me scratching my head.

Thanks friends!

Oh, a little more tinkering and I found the lever that does it!

I assume you found that on the bottom of the finder for the 65mm? It is a parallax compensator. I think the idea is that the cold shoes for the original Press and the Super 23 were in slightly different places left-right, and if you used an old finder on the new camera, you could add that thing to center the finder. It is mentioned briefly in the Super 23 instructions, see for ex the bottom of http://6x7.cz/mamiya-press-super-23/users-guide/instructions.html There may exist two kinds of 65mm finders, one with the shoe offset and one with it centered, not sure at the moment. Anyway, you probably don't need to worry about it unless shooting close-up. The up-down parallax is much more significant, and the finder has a manual adjustment for that.

Yes, that's it. On the old version the shoe was off-center and there was an off-centered finder to compensate. You can see it here https://www.oddcameras.com/mamiya/mamiya_uni_lens.htm With the adapter this old finder would be re-centered on new cameras which have the shoe in the center.

AH, I understand! Thanks! I did look at the finder mounted and saw it was centered on the lens optical centre, so I didn't worry too much about it. Thanks for the intel, though! I did try to find a manual specifically for the lens, but I guess it doesn't matter. :D
