Hello
Much have been said about biogon clones, similars, types, names or tradenames or whatever... I´m not interested in that discussion...
I have bought recently a Mamiya 50mm 6.3 optically mint and i have the intention to use it, having already a 75mm and a 127 and being the 75mm really good and the 127 really good also but a tad limited in the corners (a bit similar to yashinon in yashicamat 124) specially wide open.
I wonder how the 50mm will behave... i have a 90 grandagon (5x7) 75mm nikkor sw (4x5), a 65mm super angulon f8 (6x12, almost 4x5), a 50mm bronica pg (6x7), a 35mm mamiya (645) and a distagon zf 18mm (35mm)... i like all of them specially the 90 and the 75mm sw!
i know that the design is a good clue but i wonder who is using it as i just tested it in polaroid (and focusing to 3m @ f11 covers fully the polaroid format) but i cannot see if the fallof is obvious nor if the quality is good.
I own a few super angulon tipe lenses but no biogon type (i know that this is no biogon type as his and that...)
any similarities with swc?
Thanks
