Seals are easy to replace, I did it myself on mine. You can get seal kits for about 20.00. Search the forums here. I got mine on on eBay, do not remember who from however.

Buy the seal kit form Interslice on E-bay, John Goodman, and DIY. $135 is alot of money to do seals when the kit will cost you $20 and it will take you a couple of hours, listening to good music and the reward of doing something with your own 2 hands. Besides for #135, you can buy another camera or lens.

All you will need is tooth pick to dig out the old crud. THe new seals are self stick n precut. The kit comes with instructions n if you have any questions, just ask John, he is right there when you need him or ask it here.
