Mamiya C330S - setting film speed/ASA

Hello all,

I just bought a used Mamiya C330S camera w/80mm lens. All seems to be fairly straightforward, however I can't find where you set the film speed/ASA, and don't see it referenced in an online manual.

Can anyone advise?

It's a manual camera, it doesn't need to know the film speed. You have to set the required shutter speed and lens f-stop.

Thanks for the quick response. I've only used 35mm, and am in the habit of setting it. Shortly after I posted, the revelation hit me.

Enjoy the experience, it's a lot slower than using a 35mm, but just wait to you see those big negatives. A whole new world awaits.

You should probably pick up a handheld exposure meter. You can use it with your 35mm too.

You can still find metered 'chimney' finders, though having used one I'd say stick to a regular light meter. BTW, congrats on the Mamiya purchase. Ace cameras as long as you don't rely on the distance scale!
