MAMIYA C330 TROUBLE

Hello, I've been having an issue with my C330. When I press the shutter release (upper or lower), the camera body acts as if the camera has taken a photo, but the lens shutter hasn't been released. The camera then wants to advance the film. Shots get wasted.

Here are a couple of observations:
The camera body lever, that makes contact with the lens shutter release lever, doesn't push the lens lever far enough down to release it.
The camera body shutter cocking lever doesn't pull down the lens shutter cocking lever when advancing film (the lever on the body slips right behind the lens lever).
This happens on all of my lenses (55mm, 80mm and 180mm).

This doesn't happen all of the time. I think it does happen after I switch lenses.

Any help?

The camera needs to be looked at by a camera repair person. Either there is a problem with the body or the lens or both. Do not force anything. Best wishes on clearing the problem.

The lenses aren't mounting correctly - they are close, but not quite.
Be sure that the bellows are fully compressed before you change the lens. And of course, be sure that the safety release for the lens change is fully in position.
Is there any chance that the camera has been damaged physically?

Do that first. It is a great place to start, then if necessary, I hope not, look at my advice.

It is best to change lenses with the camera body and lens in the same shutter state, usually released. That way you are sure where the levers are supposed to lie. Make sure the levers on the shutter and the body are correctly positioned.

It is possible that taking lens assembly has rotated a fraction, so that the cocking and release actions do not have the right travel. But if you have three lenses showing the same problem, I would suspect a mounting problem, or possibly a body issue.

See these C330 pictures. The shutter levers have to move through the right arcs to cock and trip. If the camera body thinks the lens has tripped (the actuator moves enough to set the double exposure prevention mechanism), but the lens does not release, things can appear to lock up. The same can occur id the cocking arm does not move enough to cock the shutter.

Further to the above post by @grahamp it is for example possible to assemble the taking lens post service rotated clockwise (looking from the front) which could make the shutter actuating lever just touch or miss the lever on the shutter itself. A way to check is if the M/X switch is butted up against it's stop on the lens mounting flange, and if there is a gap then the lens has rotated. Maybe not that, but as suggested look at photos of how things should look.
