Hello

I need to replace the old foams on Mamiya C330 and C330s focusing screens. Both have been oxidized and turned into also dust in these day.

The c330 (old metal screen) is in the worst condition as the foams almost are gone . The screen is loose and I wondered it's accuracy on focusing.

On the other side the C330s is similar. The foam become sticky , to the frame rather than holding the screen.

Anyone know the thickness of them in original? I have several foam pads on my hand (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2mm) an I believe I could do all by myself.

Thanks.

I used the 2mm version on my C330s. As you can probably tell it's hard to go too thick on that one because the screen rests on the adjustable supports, the foam's function is to keep it pressed in place. Its thickness only increases pressure but doesn't change the screen elevation.

Thanks for your tips .
I have googled and later discovered people have mentioned it using 2.5mm or 3mm . I have measure the remaining foam thickness as well , which is slightly more than 2 mm

I think I would try 2mm first, if failed, maybe 3mm later
