Mamiya C 330s winding issue

..suddenly a bunch of problems, then back to normal. After taking frame 7, the camera didn’t stop at the next frame, but allowed winding to the end of the film. Inserted new film and the camera couldn’t find the first frame and then stop. Wound uninterrupted to end. Side shutter release lock seems partly jammed, then got completely stuck. Removed lens and grip. Fiddled around with body and inside film chamber and now it works again. I’m not sure what’s going on or if I could repeat the fix procedure. IVe a feeling that it could be related to the hand grip and its trigger. This is unreliable and I usually use the side release. Any suggestions? THanks.

Check that both top corners of the back door are securely latched when closed.
This could be a sign that the seals are in need of replacement.
