I came to use my AFD tonight and found that unbeknownst to me the end of the electronic cable release had come off last time I removed the cable and was still in the camera. The cable has the intact pins on the end, but this will go into the plug at least two ways round by the look of it.

I wondered whether anybody had any advice on fixing this. As it's "electronic" then I presume there could be some electricity involved and I don't want to risk damaging anything through trial and error... the end that goes into the camera is keyed for orientation after all.

It's got 8 pins more or less arranged in a circle.

Guess I must have pulled on the cable to remove it last time rather than gripping the plug which I am normally careful to do.
