Hi,

I am looking for repair manual for Mamiya 7 II. In particular I am concerned with the release cable socket. I broke it off and some part was left inside. I would like to disassemble and reinstall it.

Regards
Adam

Part of the threaded part is broken off in the release cable socket? Without any of the plunger? Is there no way to use a tiny wood screw of something to grab onto the hollow threaded part the cable release?

good luck!

Hi,
I have all the parts. Only there was a copper part on the plate, which probably fell off and I can hear it inside when I move the camera.

On the Mamiya 7, the release socket is simply attached to the top cover with a brass nut. So that nut is what you are hearing rattling around in the camera.

In what order should I remove the covers to remove and reinstall this part.
Maybe you have a manual and could send me ?

Hello, the exact same thing happened to me as well several month ago, but I left it as it is though now I need to use the cable release.. The silver bit came off, luckily I found it in a camera bag..

did you end up putting it back by yourself?

Best,
Matan
