Hi

i have a Mamiya 645j and im looking for a metered prism that will be compatible with the camera.
I've had a look at a few online but unsure if they will be compatible or not. Does anybody have this camera with a metered prism?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Lewis

I used to have Mamiya 1000s with a metered prism and they are the same as the one you will be looking for to fit your 645J. The later cameras such as the 645 Super and later have a different fitting and will not clip on. The meter was actually quite accurate so I didn't have to carry a seperate meter.

Although I don't know what type it was (like CdS or the others) I started my analogue adventure 13(?) years ago with a M645j with metered prism.
It worked without problems, I used it when I shot slide film. I didn't had a light metre back then. For b/w and C41 I used WLF+sunny f/16 most of time.

Edit: had a look at pictures of the different prisms, it must have been a PD.
