Mamiya 645AFD Battery Tray

It looks like the battery tray from my Mamiya 645AFD is finally giving out, either from corrosion or old age (or both!)

It also seems like rechargeable batteries for the newer Phase One versions of this camera will either not work or cause errors on this body.

Has anyone fixed or found a replacement for these battery trays?

You can find them occasionally on eBay - usually around $70 or so. I bough a brand new one a couple years ago. There is one right now in Germany for $122 . 645AF and Phase One battery holders work (for the AA batteries), too.
