Mamiya 6 lenses

I have the 75mm but unfortunately it suffers from doublet separation in the rear element as Precision Camera Works has deemed it. I just received a 50mm I suspect also has this problem. Should I simply keep on looking for a good copy or is this just the outcome of Mamiya 6 lenses down the road? Are Mamiya 7 lenses fairing any better? I might have to try that route but I much prefer the 6.

I can only speak for the 3 lenses I have for my Mamiya 7 , and they're all perfect . Peter

I also have the 75 and the 50mm.
The focus in the 75mm is slightly stiffer than the one on the 50mm but the glass is flawless.

Does your 50mm have a browning around the edges of the glass? The copy I got has it on both the front and rear and the 75mm doesn't have it at all.

Only the 50mm has it very, very slightly.

I see at any rate I ended up returning the 50mm I think I much prefer the 75mm anyways so I'm on the hunt for a good copy of one of those but it's proving very scarce.
