Hello, I have the same problem and this is what i do to sort of fix it. I rewind the curtain lever on the bottom part of the camera and then release it. If it doesn't work at once, i try it for a few times and then the red light it disappears. It works then, but only for a few seconds, so you have to find a way to live with this. Personally, i gave it for fixing and the same problem was still there. Now i am thinking of a mamiya 7. Hope it helps, cheers
