How many can you stack before you get vignetting?

Did a Polaroid with 2 and it looks ugly, though I can understand why due to the closer distance from the film plane to the lens.

Have not seen a developed neg yet, I'm in the field until Sunday.

Hmm, good question. I've only used one at most, without issue.

I have done that once in a while, so I raise my enlarger a little.

50mm with one normal Hoya screw on uV and OEM hood does not show any/much detectable vignetting at infinity focus (fifty foot or so) on the shot I have to hand.

Don't understand 'closer distance' the film plane to the lens is not dependent on the pola back?
