Hey I am wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this issued before: I have a Makina 670 that I've been slowly repairing over the last few year. It's had a number of weird issues, like someone at one point (reportedly one of the more esteemed repair techs for this camera) replaced the winding arm with one from the 67, which is slightly thicker and caused a number of issues.

But now I have a weird one. I noticed the rangefinder was off at infinity, so I popped open the little hotshoe hatch and adjusted it accordingly. After walking for a minute, I checked it again and noticed it was once again back at the same incorrect position. After another adjustment, I opened and closed the bellows two or three times, and the rangefinder fell back once again to its "bad" alignment.

Anyone have this issue before or know why the rangefinder won't hold alignment? I hope it could be something like a loose screw and not a scissor arm replacement or some equally crazy solution.

Thanks!!
