One man's fine art is another's pornography, is another's glam nude. Having said that, if it looks like the model belongs in a 50's Playboy magazine, it's probably glam. Do you want to see a true art nude? Look at Ed Weston's work. Can you tell the difference between his treatment of his girlfriend and a pepper. There is none. I would go one step further and say that art nudes glory in that which is unique in a subject, not the stylised (sp) pandering of perfect form, synthetic or genetic. Does anyone consider Diane Arbus' nudes glamour?
Who said "I don't always know art when I see it, but I definitely know when it's not"? LOL , I may not always know art, but glam is easy to spot. If you think it might be, it almost always is!
